Isn't that a great question, "Does this election matter?" There are those that believe this election is going to decide if our nation continues as the world leader. To others this election is about Socialism/Communism -vs- a democracy. For others the election is about Republican -vs- Democrat.
To me this election is about many things, but they all line up to Good -vs- Evil. America is no longer a Republic, which was the form of government that our founding fathers setup for us. Why did it change? Because States were too lazy to do their job and select the Senators in time. Others believe that it was because it should be the people's choice.
That is what the House of Representatives was established to be, "The People's House." The Senate was set up to be the "State's House." Why? The States were the location where an attempt to change our nation from a Republic to a Democracy was to be managed.
The States were to be the single point in the Federal Government that ensured that the Rights, Liberties, and Freedom's were to be protected. The States were to keep the Federal Government in check so that there would not be over lapping responsibilities or a takeover of responsibilities of the States or We the People as given to us by the Constitution.
As I stated, this elections is simply about Good -vs- Evil. The problem with this statement, there must be a good. Not even the Republican Party has a candidate that represents the Good. We already have determined in our minds that the evil is the #potus and his administration, but is that the only evil?
The evil is also present in the Congress, where doing what's right is placed aside to do what is protective of the political party, not the people. There is no real leadership for good in our country any more. And on that I include the Church and Political Parties.
With the 1st Amendment the Church was separated from the Government to ensure that Religious Control of the country or Government having Control over Religion would never be a concern. Instead we are now condemning religions as culprits against our country.
When will someone step up and say enough is enough? Our nation was a proud and growing nation. Now is the time to say we want a positive leader. One that represents our best and greatest, not the bullying and manipulative persons we see vying for our affections, when they should be vying for our trust.
